Park Miwha: some glow

About the exhibition

Art Space 3 announces this solo show by Park Miwha for November 11 to December 4, 2026. The gallery's artist page shows a practice in fired clay, painting and drawing on paper and wood panel, embroidery on cloth and video.

The gallery says the work deals with plants, landscapes and people, and that the marks of time on them can stand for wounds closing and for a life from birth through old age to death. Its text likens the works to relics just dug from the ground.

Art Space 3 showed the artist's solo exhibition Lesser in 2022 and included the artist in the group show So near yet so far in 2024.

About the artist

Park Miwha (b. 1957) earned a BFA at the College of Fine Arts, Seoul National University, in 1979. The artist studied ceramics at University City Art League in Philadelphia from 1985 to 1987 and earned an MFA at Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in 1989. The artist received the Park Soo Keun Art Award in 2019. Recent solo shows include On Your Dust at Yeoju Art Museum (2025).
