About the exhibition

Works from different periods sit side by side in 42 "storefronts" across eight zones, in a 50th-anniversary show that stretches from the 1903 migration to Hawaii to the present. Herald Business compares the storefronts to shop windows and reads "Year 0" as a starting point for what is possible. It names Nam June Paik and Park Seo-bo among the artists and reports free admission.

The show extends beyond the galleries. Kyunghyang Shinmun places Kwak Duck-Jun's scale, with a stone resting on it, at the entrance. Daily Art reports that Lee Yong-baek's Pieta sculpture, 4 meters tall, stands on the rooftop. Herald Business finds Hong Myung-sup's spatial drawing in the museum garden, and Art Korea TV says it uses stainless steel wire and colored string.
