Jenny Holzer: BLANK
제니 홀저: BLANK
About the exhibition
Kukje Gallery lists BLANK at its Seoul hanok, a traditional Korean house.
Newsis reported in December 2025 that this solo show would use the intimate setting of the hanok to offer visitors a new encounter with text. Holzer's earlier show at Kukje, in the K3 space, used four LED signs.
About the artist
Jenny Holzer (b. 1950) lives and works in New York. Kukje Gallery says language has been the artist's main medium for more than 40 years, shown in public places and at the Venice Biennale, the Guggenheim Museums in New York and Bilbao, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The Jenny Holzer Studio site names T-shirts, plaques and LED signs among the formats. Kukje adds that in 1990 Holzer became the first woman to represent the United States at the Venice Biennale and won the Golden Lion that year.
